Our Learn to Swim Programme aims to offer your child a safe and friendly atmosphere where they can learn to swim under the tuition of qualified teachers. All our teachers are qualified to the Amateur Swimming Association’s Standard and are encouraged to regularly update their swimming knowledge to keep abreast of National Trends.

We want the safety of your child to be high on our list of priorities. We insist that all our staff are qualified, attend a child protection course, are CRB checked by the police, and abide by the ASA Code of Ethics.

The Learn to Swim programme follows the ASA National  Plan for Teaching Swimming. This is a comprehensive teaching plan that offers your child the opportunity to learn to swim proficiently with skill and stroke development  being an  important part of the session. Wednesday and Friday we meet at Ashley School pool where we have our youngest pupils. They work through NPTS Level 1-3 your child will receive a written achievement of the level they are working on. If successful a certificate and badge can be purchased from the ASA. We hold four Novice Galas during the year. You can test out your progress  and compete for a medal.
