LOBSC HEAD COACH NOTES TO PARENTS AND SWIMMERS

Welcome to Pontins... After the uncertainty and worry for us all, at last we are here. We now boast a bigger swimming programme with more opportunities than ever to achieve even better results. I would like to say thank you to Pontins who have been very supportive of what we are trying to achieve. They recognised we are a non-profit community based club that provides a valuable service. They have given us a very good rate on pool hire which helps keep fees lower than what they would be otherwise. It is important we keep good relations with Pontins and its staff and all members are kindly asked to Please respect the "Pontins swimming Club Good Behaviour Charter". ( We do not wish to jeopardise our swimming programme for one swimmer or parent that can not follow this and therefore the club will take appropriate actions should issues arise and this includes suspension and expulsion)

In Addition

Pontins do not want cars left unattended outside the pool area and pick up drop off would be better from the car park and not directly in front of the swimming pool, this keeps this area clear for emergency access. Pontins would like the 5mph speed limit respected for the Health and Safety of all users on site

 Pontins currently run different programmes during the year and this can be an over 50's week, religious, scouts and guides, music etc and as a club we must respect these guests. Children are asked not to play about outside and whilst on Pontins property must be with there parent guardian. LOBSC swimmers and parents helpers should arrive 15 mins max before booked pool time and noise outside the pool should be kept to a minimum.

We are looking for Volunteers to help with Land Training, Nutrition and Physiotherapy, if you have any of these skill let Simon know and any date you may be able to help us.
