If you are not sure about what you want to do or what we have to offer you, you may want to speak to us .

If you or your child wishes to learn or train with us, we need to know the abilities and experience of the swimmer, so that we can place them in an appropriate group or squad. Again, ask us and we will do what we can. We usually encourage the swimmer to attend a taster session before committing themselves.

We encourage swimmers with a disability to join us. We do need to make sure that we have the environment, resources and skills to do the job properly. Look at our Disability policy and talk to us.

If you are visiting the area and wish to train for a week or two as a guest, contact our Head Coach. We may be able to help.

If you would like to volunteer for us, we have a Workforce Co-ordinator who should be able to help you. We also have a Volunteer policy that you need to read.

If you want to join us, we ask you to...
1 Complete an annual membership form. This commits you to abiding by our rules and the ASA Code of Ethics. It includes a declaration required under the Data Protection Act, identifying what we use your personal information for.
2 If you are not already registered with the ASA we will ask you complete a form that we forward to the ASA, to get you insured for club activities.
3 Pay the annual membership fee, as documented in the Club Bye-laws. This helps cover some of our fixed overheads such as registration.
4 RETURN ALL THE ABOVE to one of our Assistant Treasurers, who will issue a club membership card, then pass on the paperwork to get the member registered (and insured).
You will eventually receive a credit-card sized registration card from the ASA -this is for life & you will be charged if it needs to be replaced.
5 Pay monthly training fees if you are a swimmer in Advanced Skills, CLub Zone or the Performance Centre.
or
Pay per 8-week teaching block, if you are a member at the Waveney Learn-To-Swim scheme
or
Pay per half-term, if you are a member at the Ashley Learn-To-Swim scheme
6 If you wish to volunteer with us, you may be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check
